Bumper protection?
Bumper protection?
My black '04 FX4 SCrew bumper (metal part not the plastic) is just full of small rust spots due to stone chips etc.
I was wondering what I could do to fix this? Has anyone seen a bra that just slips over the lower part of the bumper? Or how about a plastic bumper cover? Anyone make a factory looking unit? I could get it painted, but non-factory paint will damage even more easily.

As far as the pits its nothing but the pits, i had this on MY99 ranger and everything beat the bumper to death. Thats why on the MY04 i wanted xlt bumpers just so they wouldnt get beat as bad.
I had a question about the invisiguard material.
Ive seen demos of this stuff at SEMA and seen cars with them driving around. Nice stuff for protection and can keep paint from being chipped, BUT since this stuff uses a strong adhesive, wouldnt that mean in time, the material itself would get scuffed up and need to be replaced? Doesnt the removal process also harm the paint?
