Stainless steel decals

Has anyone here put on those stainless stell decals on thier truck. Im thinking of getting the flames around the ford symbole on the tailgate. From what I understand they simply stick on with some adhesive on the back. What I really want to know is if it is possible to take them off a few years down the road, and if i were do do that would there be any paint damage? also would the rest of the truck be slightly faded except where the decal was?

SERGE, go to my photo gallery and look at the tailgate and front drivers side. I have the Flames over Oval and Flames over F-150 logo.

Easy to put on but be careful of placement. The 3M sticky stuff needs some force to set and a little heat will also help from a hair dryer.

Can't answer you question about pulling them off. I think that you might incure some paint damage. They are really on there.
