stock red tails seem to match your truck perfectly since your truck is red!

actually you have that backwards, it's some of those on here that have every bolt-on on their truck so they have to get these ricey tails too; AND they get offended when you call these lights ricey!

I realize that too...some of these aftermarket light companies just can't get it right. It may pay to upgrade to the actual Ford Harley lights when they come out.

because I would rather see our awesome trucks without tacky mods like those lights. Yes, it is time to drop it, I won't waste my breath over it no more.

Who says they are tacky? Apparently you and a bunch of others, but there are other people that are interested in them so why slam them?

Why lower a truck? Why lift a truck? Why put new wheels and tires? Why replace factory speakers? All of it works just fine from factory. The whole point in buying a truck and if you want you can customize it to YOUR liking not the "standard"

Big Screw, I have these taillights and they do look really good, but there is a problem with them. They don't fit. It is the right light, but when I put the bulbs in, and go to put the light in place, the bulb housing and wiring assembly hits the light housing metal and won't let it go in. This can be fixed with a little metal cutting, but I personally don't know if I want to do this yet. I am in contact with the company I bought mine from to see if there is a resolution to this. When I get them on, I will take some pictures and post them here.

As for the opinions in this thread about the tail lights, to each his own. Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one and most of them stink!

Well said!!!

I thought it was just me , i had a difficult time installing mine as well. I did manage to get mine on though without cutting anything, just had use a little force to get them to go in.

Thanks Thumper for fighting the fight. I think SteveVFX4 is a ultra conservative guy who doesnt like to do anything daring. This would explain his colour choice, or lack of one, for his vehicle. For the second time steve please tell us why these or any taillights like these are "ricey" considering the factory chrome headlights on our trucks. They are as "ricey" any headlight i have seen out there.

P.S. Nice list of mods you have there steve, you should be proud. People like you are what is wrong with this site. For whatever reason people do mods to their trucks and are kind enough to post the info here and help others with the info, and all you do is ***** on them. Thats a great way to keep people like us coming back. I am in a great, fortunate position to be able to help others out with my extensive list of mods, and i do my best, even going as far as getting something done first before anyone else has done it just so that i can contribute to these forums by being the original risk taker. What do i get for my hassle, a retard that has no respect for what he says, or thinks. You like your truck the way it is then fine, be happy, but quit running around putting down other peoples trucks or mods just because you dont like it.

Buy what you want. You are makng the payment...when someone offers to make it, only then does their opinion really matter unless asked for.

The only thing that bothers me about the lights are quality concerns. It'd be a waste if they don't fit and you have to do a lot of other mods just to make it work.

Those are nice, but I think a little too "aftermarket". if I decided not to go with the tail lights, I would definately get the covers. But I am looking for more of a factory look (unsuspecting eye will think they came on the truck). I think the stock tail lights make the truck look old, like a 90's model. We have this great redesigned/modern F150 with the same old solid red tail lights that scream vintage. I like the chrome on my truck, but it is all in the front, I want some more in the back. And I think it will go great with the chrome weels, bull bar, and nerf bars.

Only thing I am concerned about is the fit and seals, I may get them and make sure they fit and seal well. If they don't, I'll have to send them back.

Oh... AND THEY WOULD LOOK AWESOME ON A BLACK TRUCK

Found them here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

ooh, aren't you such a valuable member on here, now you are resorting to name calling and trying to put me down. I don't sit on here and call people names, I don't slam people for lowering or raising trucks, etc. I have only talked about these cheap lights. Now you guys are saying the bulb sockets don't even fit in there properly, even more PROOF that they are made in Taiwan pieces of crap. I told Thumper I'm done talking about these rice lights (and I am), so why don't go back on page 1 of this post and ask half those posters why they also call these lights ricey.

And even more signs that you such a great member on here, you now just Slammed every member on here with "our lack of color choice" Silver trucks, and those who might have done just some minor mods, or have no mods at all with just gallery pictures of stock trucks. I don't even have list of mods in my signature or elsewhere, so I don't even see your point of knocking my so-called mods list. You obviously have no concept of a "theme" when it comes to modding, because that's what I have going with my silver/black theme. NOT just changing out every single exterior piece on my truck just because something from the aftermarket is available for it. I'm not daring enough? I choose a simple, subtle mod "theme" for this truck. I've been there, done that (mainly cars) with custom paint jobs, body work, ground effects, rims, etc... I don't sit on here and brag about my truck, if someone needs a picture or help with a particular mod, and if I have already done it, than I will help them.

chill out man, and don't expect everyone to kiss your a$$ when posting pictures of mods that you have done.

Funny how you get pissed off as soon as i give you a taste of your own medicine, go figure. My comments above are stricitly directed to you and everyone here knows that. They also can tell that i was giving you a taste of your own medicine.

As for the theme of my truck, i cant be that bad, considering Lincoln used it on the LT. I had the chrome and black theme from the day i factory ordered my truck last February 2004. There isnt a single mod on my truck that doesnt fit, with the exception of the taillights. They looked darker on the pictures on Ebay, and seeing as no one else had bought them yet, i figured i would give it a try.

In the future you just might want to keep your opinions to yourself unless they are asked for. As you can clearly see, im not the only person that finds your "rice" offensive.

AS WELL I AM STILL WAITING FOR TO EXPLAIN THE FACTORY HEADLIGHTS ON OUR TRUCKS!
