Black leather in 40/20/40 seat

Does anybody know if they made a 04-05 with black leather in the 40/20/40 front seat?

Thanks,
Phillip

They do have black leather as an option. Can't say for certain for the bench front seat, but I have the black for the captain chairs. I don't think they distinquished between the types of seats and the colors. I almost ordered a bench seat with black, and the web site allowed it. Ended up getting the console version.

BTW, if you are ordering your truck, ask for black leather with WHITE stitching. Looks VERY GOOD.

Thanks RamSS/T! You've been a great help on several of my projects. I bought the black leather seat covers off ebay but they didnt come with the center section covers. I'm going to get some hogring pliers to help facilitate my swapover. I'll dive into the headrest rings this evening. Pray for me!

There are two different leathers also.
Black Sport leather for the FX4's, and Black leather for the Lariat's.
Sport leather has holes in it, the Lariat leather does not have holes.
And sorry to say, you can not request the color of the stitching.

gobra I don't see what kind of truck you have. Is it a Crew? All the seat covers on e-bay (the leather take-offs) are for Crews. They have had them for the 40-20-40, just not many.

I have screw with the 40/20/40. I will check back with them and see. I bought two sets (one for my brother in laws fx4 screw), maybe one of them is a 40/20/20.

Hi gobra, I think it says if it is. I didn't see any today for the 40-20-40, but they are there sometimes. You might contact the vendor, and see if they have a center, or if they will e-mail you when they get one. Works more often than you might suspect.

Thanks for the responses. I have successfully installed 1 seat cover (well waiting for it to warm up some so i can connect the bottoms). I have 3 words of wisdom for anyone doing a seat cover swap

1. The headrest clip that goes into the seat back on the the top is an sob to pull out unless you know the trick (thanks Ramss/t!)
2. Get a set of hog ring pliers
3. The seat back covers are different from drivers to passengers so check before installing!!!
4. The head rest covers are a beast to get off and on. Be prepared to say some dirty words.
5. I would pull the seat out and do only one at a time so you can see how the other seat is latched.

OK, ok, thats 5 not 3, but you get the point. I think its going to look awesome when i'm through, though. $200 or leather is a lot cheaper than the list price ($1200) on a new one.

Did you wind up using a set that was for a truck with the flow through? I would by an extra set of covers for mine off Ebay if the covers for the flow through with fit the bench (minus the center of course). Really all I care about is the drivers side seat (thats all that will get worn in my truck).

I bought the set that came from a floor shift lariat. They say the biggest wear factor is t when you slide across the seat. It would be hard to continually remember to get up , over and down every time you get in the truck though.
