Are the extra buttons (audio, climate) on the Lariat wheel functional on the XLT?

Right now, no they don't work. Cruise works fine though.

I want to figure it out though, somebody told me on their lariat they only had one harness plugged into the back and their controls worked. I think one harness is for the dvd system (aka "Aux"), one for the sub, and then the main plug for speakers, power, etc...

I could very well be wrong, but I am in Kansas City right now and my truck is in Salt Lake, so checking isn't that easy right now. When I get back (hopefully saturday) I am going to go look at the schematics for our trucks at my dads work, because I have many more questions besides this one that I need answered.

Thanks! (more)

Somebody @ Ford told me the Lariat had a different harness than the XLT, and didn't think it would work.
