Thanks fo the comments guys, I appreciate it.

HHIFX4,

This is the Yakima configuration for the 2004/2005 F-150/LOBO as I have it mounted, the fairing is optional of course:
-4 Q TOWERS
-4 Q122 CLIPS
-2 58" CROSSBARS
-50" FAIRING

The basket is NOT Yakima. The brand is called BIG COUNTRY
The model is SAFARI and the size is MEDIUM. http://www.bigcountryauto.com/
I think they are starting to export their products to the US. In fact, their website is oriented to the US market.

The lamps on the roof are:

2 HELLA 500 fog lamps
2 HELLA RALLY 1000 BLACK MAGIC driving lamps
1 PIAA 969 SEARCHLIGHT AWESOME light let me tell you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The lamps on the bumper are HELLA's RALLY 3000 pencil beam.

The roof basket is much more stiffer than the YAKIMA one, you can actually step on it with the YAKIMA configuration. Let me know if you find it up there. If not we can work something out

Take care,

Arturo

Another thing about the roof basket; it has a front INOX steel air deflector and side badges made from the same material.

It already comes with the light carrier holes for 4 lamps.

Here's a picture of one but in grey color.

In fact here are the equivalences:

F150 new body style = LOBO in Mexico
F150 Heritage= F150 in Mexico

Very cool looking Arturo. I've just returned from Cabo and actually noticed one or two of the heritage styles w/ the lobo badge(most did have the F 150 badge though). Maybe they were special models?

Great looking truck! We see several "Lobos" in my area, just North of San Antonio, Texas. Ofcourse, most of them have Mexico plates. I've see the name on the "pre-'04" models, too. Welcome to the site!

jimmy k and retired2001,

You are correct, the LOBO started in the late 90's as an special edition of the normal F150. This went all the way to 2003. Then, with the birth of the new body style, the old looking LOBOs disappeared.

Thanks for the welcome!!!
