QUICK QUESTION- installing shocks! ASAP!

i m about get ready to installing Bilstein shocks on my truck F150 FX4.

I need a quick question, for the front, do i need to unbolt upper A arm nut (upper ball joint) to remove the shock?

I know that i need to remove sway bar link, tie rods, what else?

I have a 30mm socket and spring compressor.

Thanks!

I did to install my daystar. You need some spring compressors also.... I really don't think you need to remove all of the other stuff you mentioned. Remove the upper a arm bolt, remove lower bolt holding spring on and three upper bolts, remove coil-over assembly. Gook luck and let me know if you have questions...

DONE! and took a ride test....its noticeable better ride and like the firm than POS stock shocks.

Any one want stock shocks eh ?

Thanks!
