Getting a car

Well, I really love my truck, but I'm being transferred to Detroit for my job, and I've decided to get a car instead of driving my big truck around. I'm selling my truck to a family member, and won't be losing any money for it, so no loss.

I want to thank everyone for all of the great info that I've gotten on this site. I've really enjoyed visiting and posting!

Sorry Copenhagen... referring folks to your classified ads is discouraged as well...

While we hate to see you go, your tone seems to indicate that you'll never come back. We certainly hope that this isn't the case and, naturally, you're more than welcome here at any time! Don't be a stranger!!

I hope that wasn't directed toward me....if so I'd like to know the reasoning for it.

Well, you lost a great truck, but I can understand why you sold it though. It will save you a lot of money on gas by getting a car, and I'm sure the car your going to get won't be costing near as much as the truck did, so your saving yourself a lot of money I'm sure! I'm sure you hate to see the truck go, but theres always the future and you can always have another if you want too.

(BTW, what kind of car are you buying?)

Thank you for the POSITIVE replies guys....I'm not sure what kind of car I'm going to get yet, probably just an older used car until I see what the driving situation is like down there and so it's LESS likely to get stolen. (I'm coming from a small rural town and going to the big city...yikes!)

I'll still be on the site to BS with all of you guys though At least my dad is buying the truck from me so I can still see it and drive it once and a while.

Because this is another useless post that takes up server space and slows down searching for helpful information. This really has nothing to do with your truck. You are bored and want a bunch of truck lovers to try and convince you to change your mind. Bye.

I'll bet your Dad is one happy camper. My Dad wants one of these new F-150's some kind of bad (and a fishing boat to go with it ). He's retired, of course and living on a fixed income. I'm trying to get him to find a good used F-150 that is a few years old and well maintained.

Good luck with the new job,

Scott

buy a fast car.

Dont buy a little hybrid toyota prius or any other trashy hybrid car and be a tree hugger. If your gunna sell your truck at least buy a MUSTANG or something fast!
