Windshield Decal

What's your opinion on these decals that are on the front window? I know some trucks look pretty good with them, while others do not. I was thinking of getting one that says: TRITON to put on. Do you think that a dark shadow grey TRITON decal would look good on the new body style?

Also, if you have one or seen one on a new f150, tell me what it says.

Thanks

Personally, the only decal I considered putting on my truck is an additional FX4 for the tailgate. Much like the way chevy used to do the Z71's.

Anyways, I'm not a real big fan of the windshield banners or decals of any sort. The bottom line is that it's your truck, so you need to decide what suits your likes/dislikes. Much like my seatcovers, many hate them but I love 'em in an ugly sorta way.

I really don't pay that much attention to that decal in the window, mine was built in Norfolk and the sticker has a red F-150 in it, since my truck is red also, guess it does not "stick out" as much as other colors.

I've seen just one New F-150 that had a decal on it's front window. It was on a all Black 04 F-150, that simply just said in Big white letters "F150" going across his front window. It looked good the way he had it and it really stuck out!

Is Jrbhc8 talking about the Ford union stickers on the lower right hand side of the window? Or the sun shade that goes on top of the windshield?

I think he is talking about acually buying a decal to put on the outside top of his window.

Ahhh ok, misunderstood.
I have not seen an aftermarket windshield banner on one yet, but since you asked, personally i would not put one on my truck.
Mine came with the F-150 on the stock windshield.

I'd put one on if it had the F150 Online logo on it. Otherwise, no.

I just can't agree with putting a cheap, cheesy sticker of any kind on any part of the truck (windows, tailgate etc)

Especially when these trucks cost as much as they do

I'm pretty certain that the "F-150" above the rear view mirror is silk-screened onto the windshield glass (on the inside of course) as is the fade-out surrounding the rearview mirror mount.

so you're into putting a bunch of stickers on a $40k truck?

what's next? A BMW with a sticker of Calvin peeing on a 3 pointed star? (sorry Dzervit... I know you have one of these)

No, but it doesn't bother me that somebody else does. I would put on a windshield screen IF it had this sites logo on it. Stickers, probably not. Haven't put a bumper sticker on nay vehicle yet, regardless of how much I paid for it.
