what is wrong with that? with that mentality then all the guys that lift 2wd trucks are idiots????? C'mon! if you don't like it then take heart that you do not have to drive it! i think it looks good! but that is my opinion!

I have a lifted 2WD, and its all for looks. I never plan on taking it off road, and I love my truck.

Those rims kinda look like Harley's, but I believe the Harley wheels are 6 spoke.

That looks good, just needs some bigger rubber on there!

I like it!:D

Thanks fellers!
I have the originals for the crappy winter months here in Omaha so I don't abuse these wheels in the snow and salt. It does look like there's room for more rubber under there...
Has anyone installed the Ground Force 4X4 lowering kit? (Here comes the rash of sh*t...) I know it's a 4X4!

i like em but like has been mentioned, either put some more rubber in the fenderwall or lower it....i dont know if its just me but i like to have the tire take up the space entirely, whether it be 35" super swampers or 305" racing tires.

:santa:

Take the FX4 decals off and few will know that it's a 4X4. Then lower it to your heart's content.

It's all a matter of personal preference, and in this case, the preference is low-profile street tires.

At my dealer, there's an 05 4x4 with 22s and low-profile street tires, and IMO, it looks pretty freaking cool. I was this close (imagine) to putting the same setup on my truck, at least for the non-winter months. IMO, it looked pretty sweet.

Then, a couple weeks later, they brought one out with 20s and BFG AT's, and that also looked as good as the street tires, in my opinion.

Ultimately, I decided on the All-Terrains, and am in the process of getting it all ordered up, but I can understand why people would like the look as it appears in this thread.

The wheels are nice on that truck, and I think the truck looks just fine. :)

Its your truck, do what you wish. I like the wheels. I'd lose the FX3½ sticker as well, not to hide the fact it's a 4x4 but just because stickers don't belong on such purdy trucks.

it your truck do what you will, but a lowerd 4x4 makes me sad, all that money and potenceal wasted 4x4 will be useless after it is lowered, it is your truck tho and your money, i would have got a 2x4 if i was going to go the route you are, just my opinion

phenom Apr 21, 2005 10:47 AM

^^on that I will agree, however.
