Has anyone tried these inthe dash or elsewhere?

If so how did they work.

What type are in the instrument cluster? How many?

Our old navigator had White LED backlighting on dash panel and it was very cool looking at night. Wonder if we could get similar effect with these?

Only issue may be the center console backlighting that is built into the climate controls and radio would look different.
