tool box question

Ive got an 05 fX4 on order but currently have a 00 Lariat, both are flareside models. Will the toolbox from the 00 fit in the 05? Do any of you know the dimensions inside bed rail? I am asking because i have my truck sold but debating on whether or not to keep the tool box. If it will fit in the 05, im gonna keep it.

thx.

I don't know the dimensions, however keep the box if it's in good shape.

I took the toolbox off my last truck, and I'm using it as a coffe table right now.

Looks great, and provides storage!

I think the new beds are wider. Not by much so I don't see why it shouldn't fit.

....

Throw some ice in there and you don't even have to leave the couch to go get a beer.

I have a mini-fridge on the counter near my recliner. I also got one of those "extend-o-arm" grabber things to reach em!

Another benefit to having the toolbox as the coffe table is that it doubles as extra seating! And you can hide your "special" movies in there and lock it up!

You mean like "Brian's Song"? Sure hate for somebody to steal that.

I think I need to hang out with heybeermantx the next time I go visit my nephews in Canyon (WT aTm U). Wait, on second thought, maybe I don't if he's going to pop in one of those special movies.

Sorry ... another post off topic.

On topic ... keep the toolbox unless the buyer knows they're getting it. It might fit your new truck. If not, I'm sure you'll find a friend who can use it, etc. That, or find a garage sale to put it in ... somebody's bound to buy it.

Yeah, I go to WTAMU (WT SUCKS) for 1 more semester, then I finally finish my 4-year degree after nearly 8 years......but that's what happens when you work full time AND party.

Party days are almost over since I get married next year....it already feels like I've been married for 2 years though. Is that normal?

P.S. I don't watch those movies any more....
