Auto dimming mirror question

My auto dim rear view seems to be acting up. It used to have a little green LED that litup after dark. Now nothing, and it isn't working (sensor's not blocked ). Do you guys know what the button on it is for? I know this sounds stupid, but WTFO? Anywho, it's under warranty so I guess it's no show stopper. Just wondering....Thanks guys,
Griz

Dumb question, but are you sure u didn't turn it off?? That button is the ON and OFF switch. When it's on, the green LED light is on, obviously the light is off when it's off. When you press the button, will the LED light turn back on? If not, then there is some sort of problem with yours. Goodluck!

Even if you turn it off, mine comes back on the after the key has been turned off, then back on again...Kevin

Well it won't turn back on at all. I guess I have a trip to the stealership after only 450 fun miles. Thank God for warranties.
