I went about seventy miles to a Ford dealer in Florida. Very exceptional customer service IMO. Was looking around at the cars and spotted the Sherrod F150!! Very decked out! For a second I thought it was just aftermarket specialties, then realized it had a badge to it- Sherrod. Check it out..

Yikes, $37k! with 15mpg city. On the right hand side, handwritten was the 'Sherrod package' added in.


Anybody know what the deal is with the Sherrod?

 

The only thing I'm not a fan of is the paint job, those white lines all over it make it look bad (imo) the rest looks good!

 

Those wheels and paintjob are gross! :o

 

sherrod is a company that makes modifications to vans etc. I've only seen them in a few places in florida, I know they have a place in Jax, where you can drive by and see hordes of vans etc. lined up in their yard waiting to be customized.

Whoa... They aren't so irrational looking. I guess they are for the person who wants all the 'aftermarket' customizing done for them, at once.

 

I was in Jacksonville today, and that same dealer was in Jax too. They had quite a few Sherrods...very interesting to say the least.

 

That paint job is just weird. Looks like it came out of the 70's.

 

now i would have to say a geo metro is better than all of those trucks on this thread. worthless imo

Hey, now that I think about it, I think I saw it's evil cousin. A Chrysler I saw on a fishing trip last Thursday.

 

ACTUALLY the $37K was the MSRP (or sticker price) of the truck BEFORE "Sherrod" did their thing to it. Out to the right is the dealer added items and the Sherrod package is listed there. I wish I could read what it says....it looks like $11,298. Then that price is ADDED to the $37K sticker price....thus the "total price" at the bottom of the hand written sticker. Do you have any idea what the final price was???

 

Im sorry but the paint job is horrible looking, the wheels look worse than the stock wheels, and the hood isn't anything I'd put on my truck. Reminds me of something out of a horror movie!

 

The red one does look much better.
And the hood scoops look like those cheap lund ones that just stick on.
To bad you didnt take any more pics of the red one.
