Who has 6" lift (or Rancho) AND a daystar??

First I would to say a big "What's Up" to everyone on the forums!!

OK on with the question, I am going to lift my 2005 FX4 with either a Rancho or a Pro Comp and I would like to hear from those of you who have done this WITH the Daystar 2.5"

1. I would like to know what extra parts you had to buy in order to make this work

2. What size tires you all are using.

3. I would also like to know what shocks and blocks you all used

4. And Pictures if you have any.

Everyone's help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Thanks!!

Sal

With the daystar on there, you would have to do some extra work to prevent a rake to the back. If you want an extra inch or two, then just get the 8" lift or body lift with the lift kit.

Not sure of why you would want the Daystar on as well. Most lifts accomodate the front end to make it level with the rear. If you leave it installed you will need an Add-A-Leaf.

1) I had to purchase/install a 1.5" Add-A-Leaf in the rear to level the truck after the Pro Comp lift was installed.

2) 37x13.50R18 Pro Comp XTerrains (AWESOME tires)

3) Pro Comp ES9000 shocks on the rear and factory coilovers. The lift kit came with a 3" aluminum block.

4) Attached in Signature!

I'm thinkin about just using half of the Daystar, the part that goes in the coil spring. I want a little more out of the front, but still keep the good ride it has.

Anyone have an old Daystar for me?

Gearslammer just go for the 2.5" Daystar. The ride is unchanged and in fact its even better. I don't feel like Im going to flip over when I slam on the brakes anymore.

Hey Sal, have you had any problems running the lift and spacer combination?? Are you using the 2" or 2.5" spacer??

I love the way your truck sits! So do you have a 2.5 leveling kit up front? Do you ever wheel your truck? If so do you get any rubbing? I want mine to sit real high in the front in the event that I put a heavy a$$ ranch hand bumper on.

Thumper I think I am going to do the same thing (spacer on top of Rancho). I want to get rid of that nose heavy look the truck has again.

Yup, how much difference is it between the front and back? I've got about an inch difference so I think with the 1-1/2" spacer, Im going to get a slight bull dog stance, but thats what Im going for. . .
