Magnaflow muffler installed today.....

I went today and had the local muffler shop install a magnaflow. I just got the muffler instead of duels, figured if I didnt like the sound I would only be out $100 instead of $300+. I think its the #14336 SI/SO muffler. Its got a nice deep tone, better sound than I expected, but it is also louder than I expected. I like the sound enough to maybe spring for the whole system and get the nice tailpipes.

I was thinking of doing what your doing, then if I liked the sound, I could come off the muffler with 2 pipes.

<edit>

I am still not too sure about dueling this lil 4.2L V6

I doubt you'll notice that much more difference with the actual catback system. Save some bucks and just get a nice stainless tip welded on if you want the flashy look!

You could get your shop to Y it off behind the muffler into duals and put some fat tips on it pretty cheap. I would think it may even quite it down a little??
