Question Leveling kits & other stuff..

I've been subscribing to the site for while but never took the time to register or post, so "Hello"!

I have a couple topics that you guys may have answered before but I have found no threads regarding these specific question(s)...

1) TuffCountry makes two (2) leveling kit for the 04/05 F150. One is brushed aluminum, the other is polyurathane. Which is better? Daystar also makes a polyurathane kit. Is it better?

2) Has anyone heard of Troyer Performance? Are their performance packages any good? If so, is there a reason why there is no '04/'05 stage 3, 4, or 5? Is it worth it? Or am I better off buying the individual components that I want?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thx

Welcome...

TuffCountry is wack in my opion...had their parts on my Trundra and it fell apart. Just my opinion though. If you want a leveling kit, check out the Autospring Kit or go with Daystar. Daystar has been around for a while.

Troyer stuff...Id do a search. Many people are using that too and Im sure you'll find some stuff if you use the search button.

"The City"...by that, do you mean Frisco? Im in the bay area as well.

Smile Thx for the help

Thats what I love about this site; everyone is willing to help... that or tell them they're a lazy sumb**ch for not searching the site themselves.

Thx to you all that replied. I was leaning towards Daystar but they're cheaper, why? And TuffCountry gives you two options, which by the way I still dont know which one is better; Alluminum or polyurathane? I will also do a lil' research on AutoSpring, haven't heard of them before.

I did read tons of messages regarding Troyer and everyone has nothing but great things to say about them, so I know they're a good choice. As a matter of fact, after this thread, I emailed Troyer and asked about the availability of stages 3-5 for the '04/'05 F150. Anita replied and just said "when R&D is finished". I'm hoping to get a better approximate time-frame, and as soon as I know, yall will know!

Thx fellas

With the Autospring you do not need a spring compressor. Daystar you do.So if your installing it yourself, Autospring is certainly easier to install. It is heavy steel w/ bolts welded in it, so there really is nothing to go wrong with it.
