Door Ding

I park far away from people in parking lots and the other day I came back and noticed a 2005 luxury Lincoln Navigator gave me a door ding on my driverside.... What is the best way to fix them?

Kick the drivers **** of the other car first.

Probably depends on the size of the ding.

Cool PDR

PDR=Paintless Dent Removal. Check your local yellow pages or with your dealership's used car dept. They probably have a PDR tech that stops by on a weekly or monthly basis.
Hope that helps.

I usually try to park away from everyone also, but there always has to be that one idiot that gets too close by the time you get back to your truck. I had one guy in an Excursion park right next to the drivers side of my truck. With his mirrors, I almost couldn't get in, so I folded his mirrors in so that I could actually get into my truck.
Some people..........................

you should have folded his mirrors to the front and not to the window....

As for the door ding... find the the 2005 luxury Lincoln Navigator that was at fault and have some fun.... (find a local teenager and pay him some cash to have fun with it... lol)

I know seems bad but... so is a door ding..

because someone who did not pay for the what they are driving or the passanger has no idea what a truck cost.....

I feel for you . I park at the train station and try all sorts of stuff to avoid being dinged. I park a mile away at the mall but there is always that one idiot. Mark the car and use the club lock. Not to fix the dent that is.

I must agree with PonyDriver. Paintless dent removal is the best way to go, as long as the paint hasn't been penatrated. Just last week I had 2 small dings removed from my tail gate using PDR. The guy did an awesome job. I can't even tell where the dings were. It only cost me $65.

PDR all the way.

I had huge dents everywhere from hail damage. They fixed everyone of the with PDR. You cannot tell it was ever in a hail storm.....

I agree 110%. These guys work voodoo and are pretty cheap versus a body shop re-work.

I had a door ding repaired using the PDR system. I contacted the service writer at my local ford dealer and he made an appt for me to have it fixed right there at the dealership. Only took about 30 minutes and $75 bucks.

Angry

Man that sucks big time. I thought I was the only one that parked like a mile away from everyone to avoid such a thing. Well anyways about a year ago the same thing happened to my 2004 SuperCrew. It was at work some idiot who turned out to be one of my co workers let his door swing right into the side of my box, right on the body line of wheel opening. Man was was I pi$$ed, I thought for sure that there was no soulution because of the location of the dent. But sure enough I checked my local body shop and they reffered me to a Paintless Dent Removal place. I called them up and they said they would come over to my house or work, but since I was in the area I went to them. They did it right in front of me and they took about 25 mins. They charged me $100 bucks which I didn't mind since you can't see any trace of the dent even on the body line, and also because I later charged my co worker the money I spent. Those guys are awesome, try them out.
