Center Console Sub Box

I may be picky, but I hate the way that all the aftermarket sub boxs look (probox, supercrewsound) for the supercrews. I dont like that some stick out past the front of the seat, and when you open the door you see them there under the seat

That being said has anybody tried to put a sub box inside the center console. I had it apart today and the console itself already has about .5 cubic feet. With a little work I could get that up to .6. Has anybody tried this with any luck?

This is the first time I've agreed with you.

It would sound horrible and whats the big deal with the www.supercrewsound.com boxes? I think they look great especially since you can get matching OEM carpet.

I've looked at a lot of alternatives, and I'd have to say the best solution would be the stealthbox that JL Audio custom makes for the F150. Granted sometimes the carpet isn't an exact match, but it's darn close.

It has a 10" sub in it and it looks DARN slick and is SUPER easy to take in and out.

Here's the link:

I know it's what I am going to buy when I install my sub.

Just thought I'd show an industry made alternative.
