So, just how are you coming up with thest 0-60 #'s. How about some 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile times to quantify those claims.

Hey Screw,

Take the family with you. I am a single father w/ custody of my three sons aged 5, 3, and 1. I strap some ear muffs on the little rugrats and get it done. Usually my friends will chill with the kids while I run. They love it.

Out in Cali you shouldnt find a problem getting to a track.

Did you check out my gallery over at FTW? Just wondering since you mentioned the looks of my truck. I have to thank e-bay for my truck. Lariat wheels on an XL model RC SB...LOL!!! 250.00 shipped to the door via ebay with only 200 miles on them. SWEET.

Oh, and they are the lightest of ALL the new rims on the trucks. They are 10lbs lighter a piece than my steel 17" wheels.

Dig it !!!!

that cobra is a horrible driver. 2.4 60 ft? a stock 97 bird can do that.

That guy had a Kenne Bell SC'd Cobra and he spun very bad on street tires.

He still pulled a 9.05 out of it @83mph. On his next run he pulled off an 8.3@85mph I do believe. He had 2 other people in his car too. His car was gettin' it the rest of the night.

a KB car will run 10-11s easily in the 1/4 on drag radials or slicks. Its quite easy to get 600rwhp on a kb cobra.

How much boost are you talking bro? Not on 6-9lbs you arent going to even think about 10's on a stock motor.

The 04 Cobras are already SC'd and installing a KB only allows a more refined tune and a couple extra pounds of boost. You would need about 100 more HP to see 10's on a stock bottom end.

Think, 390HP stock at the flywheel (supposed), more like 380 at the wheels. Anyway, 600HP, it would have to add 200hp and that takes more than a 9 lb boost SC'r.

ya i know, it takes anywhere from 15-20 psi to get to 600 rwhp.

03's running 10's on stock bottom ends happens all the time.
Having them last a while is another thing. But it does happen.

Yeah, I am sure it happens. But, safely....NO. Havent we all seen the video of the boosted Cobra running a Z06...he was killing him and KABOOM !!!

I am talking daily driver. Hell, I could boost the hell out of my truck for about what 3-4 runs? Then you have done damage and so on. A stock bottom end Cobra "may" be able to pull 10's, but for one...it wont be safe and two....hard to achieve from my experience.

My buddy has a built forged bottom end 01 Cobra running 14lbs of boost on a Vortech and he is pulling 7.2's in the 1/8 on slicks.

It is very quick but he isnt seeing 10's. 11's for sure but not 10's. Seems hard pressed to achieve that on stock engine.
