Oh yeah--you could also look into getting the wheels chromed. If new wheels aren't an option--as you said--this could be a lower cost alternative and set off the truck as well. There is a place that sells chromed factory wheels that I have seen in magazines--well several places actually. You can order the wheels, have them installed, then send yours back in for credit--that way you arent without your truck for any length of time.

Could you post a link to the places that do the chroming or even how much it'd run me?

Well after doing some talking I think I might be able to get the Xcalibrator or the Predator. Choices, Choices..

Here ya go Thumper--although on the pics they dont show the F150 wheel, they do show an Expy wheel that looks similar. I am sure they have/ can do your wheels. I was reading the website and it says the boxes they ship the wheels in are designed to be re used to ship the exchanged wheels back to them. It usually runs around 125 bucks a wheel. Of course, you have to come up with the initial amount for four new wheels, but you will get

credited back when they receive your exchanges. Hope this helps...

Hey Thumper, I got in the mail a few days ago a "Moss Motors Cataloge" for the 04 and 05 f150's. You would not believe all the cool stuff in this book you can buy for our trucks for looks on the outside! If you really want to get an idea on what you want to do with the outside of your truck that won't hurt your wallet, I would order this cataloge! I believe you can opder one right off there websight! A LOT of cool stuff in there!!

I just got the Chrome Westin Ultimate Bull Bar from Ebay for 279.95 plus shipping, which from what I have seen is a great price so far. I just checked and they are still there for that price.

I had to buy a shorty antenna for my truck because the stock one was hitting the roof of the parking garage I park in. I picked up one of the rubber ones from a local parts store for $7.00. I was in a pinch and nobody had anything at the time for the 04 F150. Mine is about 1'6" long.

I also think the Xcalibrator is a wise purchase and excellent choice...

I was also considering the Diablo Predator tuner, but I haven't heard any feedback on which one is better.

Thumper,

I thought in your original post you said, No Performance Mods?

Already change your mind in such a short period of time?

Get what you think looks good, not what others think.

Hope everything works out for you.

I didn't think I would be able to get it, thats why I said no perfomance mods. If any performance mods this is about the only one I'll be able to do more than likely.
