That's not counting the 100 or so special service messages the public doesn't normally see...nothing unusual for new model year vehicle though.

A lot of those bulletins are calibration issues, most of which is generally handled while you're under factory warranty. There's a few for vibration concerns, which again is typically dealt with while the truck is relatively new and under warranty. Then there's a few body and frame repair messages, something that doesn't really relate to any ESP coverages. Lastly, there's the trim ones, which frankly, in several vehicle lines over the past four years or so, I can't remember the last time I've actually performed one of those stupid trim related service messages.(slow seat belt retraction speed? ) The TSB regarding the design change in the camshafts and lash adjusters is mainly to make sure techs don't run off and try installing '04 model phasers, cams, and lash adjusters on '05 engines.

The above TSbs are the main reason I got rid of my 02 FORD Explorer. The thing was in the shop 13 times for various reasons. The worst vehicle I have ever owned. I was actually looking at getting a new F150 but changed my mind when I saw all of the problems you guys were having with your trucks. Ford needs to get there act together and build some quality products!! I ended up buying a 2005 Toyota Sequioa....by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. Sorry Ford....never again. Not trying to bash your trucks....but I will never buy a Ford again! Let the flaming begin.

every manufactor has TSBs for any car or truck. There is no such thing as a perfact car or truck. Although, we wish we had one. The F150's are very close to that perfact mark (on some of the trucks)

To each their own. But, you might want to view this , showing Toyota's 111 recent technical service bulletins that may not even cover all vehicle models. Let's not have the pot calling the kettle black.

TSB 04-24-24 outlines the changes in '04 and '05 camshafts, cam phasers and lash adjusters.
