which gears

Hello, I'm looking into purchasing a 2005 XLT Scab 4x4. An immediate upgrade will be a lift and tires. Not sure onthe specifics of the lift/tires but running atleast 33's or better. The question I have is what gear ratio should I get for the best performance. thak u

33's, go at least 4:11 any larger, go 4:56

You won't be able to get either of these stock, the best you'll be able to do is 3.73.

I believe that you can get 4:10s in the long wheel base SCABs. You could in 04 anyway.
