those rice lights? They are tacky and take away from the clean lines of our trucks.

I emailed DEPO who makes the black headlights and asked about some smoked tail lights. They said no, but also said they sent my suggestion to their product development team, so maybe they'll come out with some!

Yeah those are pretty tacky.
I am in the works of getting replacement LED units for the 04+ F-150s.

I think they're pretty sharp, they match the style of the headlight assembly

Actually i started the thread as it was in my opinion a nice compliment to the black head lights many of us have bought. Unfortunately the post was deleted due to someone trying to sell there taillights in the post. Here is a pic of the gunmetal ones i bought and am waiting for.

As for those people complaining about them, the cost including shipping was only 95 bucks so it is definately one of the cheaper mods many of us can or have done. As well the chrome ones i think would look good with the factory chrome headlights, unless you are telling us that Ford made our trucks "RICE" from the factory.
Bottom line, if you dont like them fine, dont buy them but dont tell me or anyone else what we can or cant do to our trucks.

Trev, we won't tell anyone what they can't put on their trucks, we'll just make fun of it for being ugly or tacky!!!

Buying every single bolt-on accessory that is available for your truck is not going to make it look better. Sometimes less is "more".

It wouldnt be so much of a problem if our trucks werent so damn good that everyone wants to buy one. I make the mods to my truck just so it doesnt look like every other F150 in the city. Im sure if i lived in a small town i wouldnt have done half the things that I have done. I guess its the price we have to pay to drive the nicest truck and yet want to be different than the rest.

It's all in the eye of the beholder. What one man thinks is tacky, another man thinks is pretty sharp. Why attack someone for what he puts on his vehicle? Opinions weren't really invited in this thread anyway...Kevin

Those are sharp and should look pretty nice. Personally I like both of them, I think I like the Gun Metal Blue ones the best. Maybe cause they would look better with your Black truck.

Give us an update when you get them installed, I'd like to see them on the truck
