Clear Coated pics
First off happy Easter everybody. Went up to the shop this morning and took some pics while they were taking off the tape for the first layer of graphics.
These are the new pics where the paint has been cleared, looks much, much better.
I'll post two more in the next reply.

Yeah, I was kind of worried yesterday about the yellow and the air-brushed streaks. Once the paper came of most of the yellow went with it and the streaks seemed to get defused a little made them look much, much better.
The only thing I wondering about now is where the silver cuts down into the orange part of the graphic. The flames will cover alot of that up though. Plus in still all needs to be outlined.
They're letting it set all today so the clear coat will set up really good before they start to sand it and re-apply the masking for the 2nd layer of graphics(flames).
I'll keep you'll posted.

Latest pics
Sorry for the delay. The batch of pics I took where of the flames taped off and painted blue. You really couldnt tell anything, just looked like a blue streak painted down the side with everything taped off.
Well last night he finished airbrushing the flame tips in bright purple (you really can tell in the pics though).
Today they pulled off all the tape and let it set outside so the clear coat can set really good before they start finish sanding it and buffing it out. Then when they are finished with that they will do the outlining of the graphics. This will set the flames off much better.
They still have to paint the door handles and bedrails and put the bumper back on. Should get it back this weekend.
Man..........I was kind of scared pulling in the parking lot, wondering how the colors would look together. It took a while before I could say I liked it. Should look better with the outlining and bumper on.
Here it is...........
The tail gate is a little on the wild side.

Tail gate pic
This is a view of the tail gate,
The flames will match and wrap around the side of the truck and onto the tailgate. The bumper which is not on yet will be close to the bottom color and blend upwards. Its hard to see any ot the airbrush streaking on the side pics especially in the bottom color. I was too far away.
Keep you'll posted when the outlining is done.

The bedrails and tailgate top piece and the 3 handles (doors and tailgate) I added to it later and will be an extra $200
I thought that part was a little high, but I was still way below the total I was going to go for the entire truck.
He has repeatedly told me he way under priced this job. Everybody tells me also that I stoled that at that price.
Didnt realize all the taping time for this layout. Then jokingly adds "I believe in giving the customer more than what the pay for."
Anyway I've already got him a couple more customers lined up. So he's happy.
I'll get some more pics up when the outlining is done. Hopefully tommorrow.
Later.............
