Strange A/C behaviour
Strange A/C behavior
My A/C switch stays on after switching from MAX A/C to any other setting on the climate control, even on the floor heat setting. Is this normal? This only happens after setting the A/C to MAX A/C and then changing the setting to something else. Can someone else try this and see if yours works that way? I have the manual climate control.

Yeah, I've noticed that as well. Don't know why this is so, but so be it. I think it'll be nice in the summers though, so that the A/C won't "turn off" after going down from Max A/C.

I don't mind it staying on for the other A/C positions, but once you turn it past the off setting to the heat settings I think it should disengage(except for the defog/defrost). Doesn't make sense.

I haven't had a need for it in 6+ months. You got to love Michigan! In my Lariat I do notice that it will go into A/C when I push the auto button.

Exactly. For those of us in the snowbelt, AC is the least of our worries!
