grease fittings

Anyway, I want to make a suggestion to all present F-150 owners. The best way I have found that ALLOWS you to grease all of those non greasable joints, is first, you need a very small syringe (sp?) fitting for your grease gun. It is a fitting that attaches to the end of the grease gun that looks just like a needle that the is used when you give blood. What you do is take this needle and poke a pinhole in the seal of the ball joint or tie rod, or whatever. You put a few pumps of grease in there each time you service your truck. When you pull the syringe out, it is just like your skin, the hole is so small that the rubber is able to just about close the hole up to keep all dirt and debris out of the seal. I have done this to many of my vehicles, and other vehicles also, and have never had any ball joints or tie rods or the like wear out. This is about the only way to put grease into these seals, and it definately works. You can just barely see the mark where you put the grease into the joint. The trick is to use the same spot the next time you put grease into the joint, as to not put holes all over the seal. You only want one hole. I highly suggest this to everyone out there who changes their oil on their own. If I remeber tonight I will get a picture of the grease gun syringe fitting I am referring to.
I hope this gives some people some good insight on how to keep those non greasable joints lubed up!
Hope I could help!
