Which brand of rear shackles???
I need to lower the rear of my truck, Which brand shackles are you guys getting the most drop out of? I not only replaced the shackles, But I also replaced the leafs on my Lightning when I had it so I know its not hard but was just curious which ones were the best for this application. Also, Has anyone noticed that they(Ford) placed the upper bolt towards the frame of the truck! It would be a lot easier to just take the nut off, Now I have to jack the leaf all the way up over the frame!
I used the Ground Force shackles. Mine dropped just over 2 inches. I have a SuperCab.

Search for pinion angle woes and you'll see a pretty lengthy thread about this.
To sum it up, I originally went with the DJM, but got a vibe, so I switched to the Ground Force which comes with a pinion shim, and all is good now.
Bought 'em both from Stylin' Concepts. Great service and competitive price. They refunded me for the DJM's when I told them what happened, as DJM has started getting alot of complaints about the vibe.

I lowered mine with the 2" DJM shackles. I've got a very slight driveline vibration from 20-30 mph, but I don't really think it's bad enough to worry about right now. I'll get shims sooner or later for it.
