Just wondering how long you guys have been waiting or waited for you truck to arrive? 4 weeks and counting here.

 

and I'm supposed to get it the end of May. It has to go thru an upfitter to have the tonneau cover installed.

 

When put the order in for mine, I was told 6 to 8 weeks...
The truck was delivered in five weeks.

From what I read here, that is NOT the norm. I guess they were able to slide it into a production run.

It also varies as to what kind of:
- Body style you chose
- What tire/wheel package you chose
- If it's two tone paint or not
etc...

There was a very good post on here (and I'm sorry I'm too lazy to search for it) which breaks down how Ford does their production runs.

It might give you a little more prospective.

Ordered March 2, 04 arrived at the dealer March 25th. Too bad I didn't get there till June.

 

ordered mine christmas week 2003, got it 2-17 or 17 2004.

hospitalizes 2-21-04 for possible heart attack. luckily though it wasn't just to much stress.

 

Ordered 2/3/05 - Talked to Ford Customer Service and gave them my VIN Number (provided to me a week after ordering)...computer says truck is in shipping/transit and is slated for arrival at dealer 3/22/05. About 7 weeks.

 

I ordered my SuperCrew King Ranch on 02/03/05 and it should be at the dealer not later than 03/18/05. That would make it a full six weeks of wait time. The dealer originally told me it would be 6-8 weeks.

 

I see about 55 trucks an hour go by over at the Dearborn Truck Plant....be patient

 

Ordered on 2/17/05, and was told the standard 6-8 weeks. Called the Ford VOPC 800 number, and found out that it should be built this week and shipped next week. If I did the math right, that will make about 5 weeks. Gettin close...........

 

Ordered first week of December 2004, arrived to dealer Feb 22. Evidently, the plant shuts down for two weeks during Christmas, or so I was told. That's over 11 weeks total.

 

Ordered Nov 3, 2004 picked up Jan 4, 2005.

 

I ordered my truck the first week of December, 2004. It just arrived 3 days ago - 14 March 2005.
