Talking Revtek 2" Leveling Kit (pic)

Installed leveling kit this morning. Took about an hour. I was going to put airbags in the back at the same time, but I had a bracket missing from the kit. I measured before and after, and it raised the front 2" exactly. Back is still 0.5" higher.

Any comments welcome.

Looks much mo betta. Is that just a spacer deal, or something else?

It was just a preload spacer. I had to compress the strut and put it on top of the spring. It was only about an inch thick but the extra spring stiffness lifted the front 2 inches.

Looks FANTASTIC!!!

Is the front end alignment effected by adding the lift kit.

That picture doesn't come close to showing how dirty it really is. For the past week there has been 6" of water flowing over the highway on my way to and from work. I thought going thtough it at 70 MPH would keep the truck clean, but obviously not.

The ride is a little stiffer now, I think. Not much but it was expected because the spacers preload the front springs to achieve the lift. The road I drive everyday will shake your fillings out anyway, so it's kind of hard to tell.
The price I don't know exactly, because my wife bought it. I think I've seen it in the MOSS catalog though. My wife just bought it from the parts guy where I work.

I did an alignment after installing it and camber and caster were unaffected. The tires were toed in a bit so the toe had to be adjusted.

That truck's worked for it's living, that's all. Some call it dirt, some call it charisma!

Is the Revtek similar to the Daystar or AutoSpring?

Im guessing Autospring, but I was just curious!

I have not seen either the daystar or autospring, so I am just drawing my conclusions from what I have read on here. I think with the daystar, you have to compress the spring and disassemble the strut, then put the spacer in. The autospring, I think is just a spacer that goes on top of the strut, moving the whole strut down.
If these assumptions are right, then the Revtek would be similar to the Daystar. If anyone out there can verify this, that would be appreciated.

Thats correct..

So if yours sits .5" high in the back the Daystar should make it a perfectly level truck. Unless its different with a supercrew.

I like the back a bit higher than the front, myself. I have Firestone airbags to go on the back as soon as I get a part missing from the kit. I was thinking that I would lift the back an equal amount to the front, but I am starting to really like the level look. I'll have to see how much the airbags lift it at minimum pressure. It says you can't run them uninflated. I got them mostly because I don't like the back sagging when I load it up. It makes it bad at night when your lights are way too high and blinding other drivers. I might have them in next weekend and I'll post pics then.
