X-plan price for F-150's is normally about $100-200 below invoice.
Any deal near invoice or under invoice is good.

As an eligible X-Plan participant, you may purchase or lease eligible Ford Division vehicles at a special, predetermined price. This price is 4% over the Ford Employee (A-Plan) price, plus $150. Generally this price is below the dealer invoice price.

 

johnc515 - I am surprised by the information you are offering - the business manager at the local dealership is a business acquaintance of mine, and she showed me a number samples of previous units so I could see the x plan pricing to get a rough estimate of what it represents. I don't recall seeing any that were below the dealer invoice!

When I agreed on the invoice + $500 deal, it was explicitly understood that this was an improvement over X plan - I wouldn't have agreed to it if that wasn't the case.

I'm going to start another thread regarding x plan and such to see if we can get members to help out.

I would demand to see the xplan price. It sounds as though you were definitely lied to (provided the website for xplan prices is correct) It looks as though your previous business relations together didn't mean very much. I would go back and get my deposit back and take business elsewhere. I DON 'T like being lied to. Lie to me and lose my business and all future sales. JMHO

 

hhhmmmmmm. The formal order happens tomorrow - no deposit has been made. I tried to find that statement on the X plan site but haven't located it myself as yet. If anyone has a link directly to the page with that statement it would be most appreciated, although I will keep looking......
