Z-71

My next door neighbor drives an 18 wheeler . Yesterday , he asked me to pick up his 04 Chevy Z-71 from the shop where he parks his truck and carry it to his house. Man, all of you folks complaining about your vibrations, shaking etc. just drive one of these Chevys..you'll be glad your riding in a Ford. That thing bucked and jumped down the road. If you hit a bump in the road the rear end would jump up . The thing shook and steered like (as my old Daddy would say) like a log wagon. He had 14000 miles on the odometer. The 5.3 engine would rev quick but once it got to about 3500 rpms it seemed to almost quit pulling. Trust me, I didn't know how much better our trucks were than the Chevy but they are far superior in ride, drive and smoothness.

Yeah, I work with a guy who has one. The wind-noise in that thing is similar to driving with my windows wide-open.
