Im sorry, but IRS pickups should be left to honda.
If you want to do any sort of axle swap I suggest doing the reverse and going to a SAS up front.
One of my rangers will be getting 1-ton Dana 60s in the next year or so. Im not sure if I want to use one of the two I have or get another one though.

NICO,
You would want to do this if you want to run WIDE FREAKIN OPEN in the desert or like terrain. A solid F & R is really only good for rock crawling and that sort of 4x4. You could never get a solid axle to go over 4' whoops at 90 to 100 (maybe never is to strong but IFS will do it much better).
Plus imagine if you had an extreme IRS set up were if you were rock crawling you could have one tire flat with full contact patch firmly planted and another 5' in the air on a boulder.
