Lets See Those Step Bars !!

Ok guys hit me with some pics! Parents just bought a 2005 F150 Scab XLT with the 5.5' bed. I didnt realize how rare that configuration was. Anyways, they're getting old and need some help getting in and out of the beast. So tell me what brand, where you bought them, etc, etc. Thanks in advance!

I'm not one for "Bling" so I ordered Westin Platnum series Black bars.

Nerfs

Depending on where the truck is located (salt country or not) I'd look at stainless steel. I just put a set of nerfs on my truck for Christmas and found these Nasta bars at a local accessories shop. What sold me on them was the all stainless construction, even the mounting hardware. They've been on the truck since Christmas and look great. I've always been a little worried about doing this, but I actually bought them on Ebay, but as I said I'd already seen the bars in person. Anyway, you might want to check on these as I have had nothing but a good experience with the bars. Good luck with whatever you decide.

MAAG Challenger Step Rails....not on a F150 but they make them just like that. Very high quality and large steps.

Here is what the MAAP Challengers look like on my truck. They are good quality stainless steel steps. 5 inches wide do a good job protecting the sides from small stone. I got them from Cabelas, including shipping they were about $355...

Thumbs down westin nurf bars

have westin platinum series stainless black powder coated bars on my 2004 scab. After 5 months, the powder coat came off in large area by both front tires, no abnormal driving, but no mud flaps to protect chips. wish i bought the chrome ones. bought them online at everything offroad. called to complain, had new one's in about 2 weeks. hope the same doesn;t happen, have no faith in them now and would never buy them again.
