Has only 500 miles on it. Wife said it was too loud for her. It was her or the intake. She had to go.
The intake I mean.

 

Carl, did you take the intake out yet? I might be interested, but would like to hear it first.

I thought the only time the Airaid got loud is at WOT or under a heavy load? That thing must scream if the wife is cracking down on you.

 

Man that sucks, my wife never even noticed mine. I guess the ram air hood must somehow make mine quieter. The only time i hear anything is when i step on the gas hard but im sure its my exhaust that is more noticable.

dude you have serious problems if an intake is making much noise if any. maybe your hearing things

 

It sounds sweet but the wife takes the truck food shopping occasionally throughout some steep hills and notices it.

I get an earful when she walks through the door.

 

Bro... I can stand it and isn't that loud, but I think my wife has supersensitive hearing... or something.

 

Yeah I guess im a lucky guy, she actually prefers the sound and looks of my truck. Allthough she hates having the windows tinted as she used to think that the guys checking out the truck, were actually checkin her out. But now that the windows are tinted the guys are still checkin out the truck, and she knows its not her.
Oh well I guess we all cant have wifes like mine.

I’m still hoping the Air Force One will be released soon because I want an intake kit bad and the Airaid does look good.
