New guy with tire question

Ok, so I'm new to the forum having jsut picked up my 05 scab 4x4 on Saturday.
I gotta say I love this truck, but I have a question.

My truck is an xlt but came with the chrome steel wheels and 235 75 r17 tires. I like the rims, but the tires leave me wanting something a little beefier.

Anyone know how big a tire I can put on these stock rims?

Thanks and seems like an awesome forum

i have seen guys put 305 and even 315's on there stock rims, they kinda bubble out a little but still look damn good on stock rims.

Thanks guys for your replies....

I guess it's time to start saving for new shoes for the truck. Although the wife thinks it's nuts that I need new tires on a brand new truck
