I know that there have been many threads about the Airaid intake system, some of those being that it was "loud." Well, I just intalled my Airiad system today. I've had my Magnaflow SI/SO cat back on for about 2 weeks, which I love, but there was a little drone in the cabin around 2K rpms. Now that I've installed the Airaid, the drone is GONE!

My exhaust is quieter now with the Airaid than it was without. I'm guessing it's because the intake allows more air in and compliments the free flowing exhaust.....like a whole new set of lungs.

I have not at all experienced the "loud drone" many people have been talking about...but the sound is makes at WOT is wonderful....sounds mean! I have no regrets. The system fits perfectly, and it relatively easy to install. Took me about an hour total.
