Leveling kit changing cab height?

If i install the 2" autospring i am worried that the cab will be raised so much it wont fit in my garage. I beleive that the tallest part is the very back of the cab, like where the 3rd brake light is. I am curious as to whether or not the leveling kit will cause the truck to be higher that far back or if the back of the cab is already raised by the higher rear of the truck.

I hope this makes sense. it does in my head, but i will try to clarify if needed. I appreciate the responses.

Thanks

I understand what you are saying. I'd suggest getting a floor jack and a tape measure and checking for yourself. Just put the jack under the front crossmember and see how much you can raise the front end before you have clearance problems.

i want to say No- you shouldnt have a problem but I never measured my cab before and after. I do know now my antenna hits.....

Like mentioned above.. I would jack the front of your truck up and take measurements....

anything forward of the rear axle is going to come up, how much is anybody's guess without before and after measurements.

it shouldn't be much at all though. the front end of the cab will come up more than the back.

If anybody's got a good spec sheet with all kinds of body length/wheelbase measurements, we can figure it out exactly...

if the highest part of the cab is near the middle of the wheelbase you can just use the law of similar triangles to figure out how much your cab is going to raise. 2'' in the front will be 1" at the back of the cab( 3" front 1.5" at the cab...). however, bigger tires would be my concern

The 2” Autospring kit will raise the front end up 2 ¼” at the tire so that’s going to be it, 2 ¼” higher
