Pinstriping

Anybody had any pinstriping done yet? I saw a Harley Edition F-150 w/ this really nice Harley Orange pinstripe that faded into flames at the bed. I priced this out today and this particular shop wanted over three hundred beans installed. Too bad, because it was really nice looking. I was looking for some ideas, so if any of you 04 owners have added pinstriping maybe you could post a pic. I need something to break up all that sheet metal.

Scott

this is it

I did, but nothing like the Harley type, just standard hand painted dual stripes all the way around.
Taking the wifes Explorer next month to have it done also.
Its actually easier to see in person than the pics in my gallery.

Heres one of mine.
Its just a simple pinstripe that runs along the fender and doors. Costed 10 bucks to have it put on.

Kinda hard to see in this pic though.

That looks nice guys. Simple, thats kinda what I'm looking for nothing gaudy or blingish.
Hey 04 RED, what's that white stuff all over the place. jk it's been years, like 13 since I've seen that.

Thanks
Scott

I've seen that flame pinstripe like in your picture at one of the local auto parts stores. I think Auto Zone, but not sure.

Click on my gallery to see mine. My dealer did it for free right after an oil change.

I have mine in vinyl (barbed wire pattern) to see how I like it until I decide just what I want in paint. The barbed wire pattern sure gets lots of attention. Costs about 10 bucks for the vinyl tape at my local auto parts store and I was able to try a couple of different patterns

I had the Harley flames cut for my truck:

There is a local company that cut them and installed them for $69. He uses high quality vinyl, can cut them in any color and can size them for any vehicle. I had them done in silver metalflake. More pics in my gallery and on my site.

Flames

I had the same harley looking flames priced for my truck with a little work on the tailgate as well. This was to be striped with some airbrush shadowing and accents added to the flames. The price is $550.
I think however Iam going to go a little more radical. The Carl Casper Auto Show is here in Louisville this weekend. Will be out there with camera in hand getting some ideas for sure.
Later..........saleen97

Monkey-1 I really like your Harley flames.
Would you do me a favour and inquire about getting some for my truck. Something that will pop with my Black and Chrome i have on my truck.
Thanks Trev

Monkey

That is exactly what I'm looking for. 69.00, I know those people were trying to rip me off.
I'll have to search out some other companies.

Thanks
Scott
