I think you'll be fine with an '05 F150. My '05 is smooth as silk and I've had it since last October. I haven't heard of any '05 owners with vibration problems.

If you do trade the truck in for an 05 f150, be prepared to take a HUGE hit!! The dealer won't give you anywhere close to what you truck is worth on the trade in!

Normally, but not true in my case. I traded my 04 Supercab in for an 05 Supercrew (long story, but I basically grew to hate the hassle of the sucide doors). I had only made 4 payments on the Scab but could not live with a vehicle I just was not happy with.

Anyway, I knew I would take a hit, and it started off pretty ugly (to the tune of almost $4,000). But after much back and forth, they got my negative equity down to $1,200, which was a figure I could live with. The price of the new 05 Screw was never an issue as it was set by my relative's D-plan (good old grandma works at a dealer). I admit that the dealer probably gave me alot more than they normally would have in this situation due to the family connection.

I love my 05 and love the Screw! I know I should have gotten the Screw to begin with, but alls well that ends well. This truck rides smooth as glass and taking clients out to lunch is no longer an ordeal to load them in and out of the truck in a tight parking lot.
