I've got no heat...

barely a year old and 17000 miles. I noticed it wednesday on the way home from work. the temp gauge would barely rise above the "c". heat was working fine when i got to work wednesday morning, strange. i'm guessing the thermostat is bad? after a year? so on the way home from work yesterday my check engine light comes on and the truck starts running rough. so what gives? are the two related or what?

now i am afraid to drive it. i don't want to get stuck somewhere. at least i get to beat on the wife's liberty for the weekend!

i got the mail when i got home friday and i got the tsb notice for the butyl pad on the inner rear fender. i am not having a good week. she's goin' in monday.

i know the tritons with coil on plug will shut down every other cylinder when the engine overheats so i suppose if some sensor is bad the two could be connected i got the butyl pad letter friday also
