Nah, give it a week! Those LTX's are tough to burn off. I've had several sets, the last ones on my '01 still had good tread at 56,000 miles.

The BFG's on my '04 only have 23K and look to be almost done. Nearly time for Michelins again.

If you think $7500 is steep, did anyone see the ones at SEMA that were motor driven spinners with lights that you program with a laptop to do or read anything you want them to? Their closest "estimate" as to what they would sell for was $20,000 for the set. Tires are extra.

If you thin $20,000 is steep, did you see the diamond incrusted 24s Lexani had at SEMA? I forget how many kerats they were but they cost $250,000 (I am not sure if that included tires or not! lol). I wonder which rapper has them on his Bentley????

I bought it localy (the only thing on the truck that didn't come off the net) from Tuff Truckn' Accesories. I got it for near cost ($750 installed) because I know all the owner real well. The Tri-Glass covers are made in Dalevile, Alabama. I couldn't find their website but there # is (334) 598-2422, maybe they can give you the name of a dealer near you.

As far as the cover goes I really like it and the quality (including paint) is top notch. Its fairly easy to remove...just real heavy. They have been around a while and I know a guy thats got one on is 93 Chevy (I think its been on since 95 or 96) and its still in good shape.

Do those wheels make your truck a complete dog now or what?

How much does each wheel/tire weigh?

Absolutly not...I am sure there is a little loss in acceleration just do to the added weight but you really can't tell it. I mean whats another 350-400lbs to a truck this heavy? In fact I can break them loose if I try. The truck handles a lot better with these tires on than it did with the factory 18in BFGs and the ride is a lot better (again maybe its not that these ride that great but that the BFGs were just that bad) with no vibration at all. Besides all that I didn't buy the truck to be a race car (had i wanted that I would have just kept my WS6 I traded in on it)....I wanted it to look awsome...and it does!

The tires and wheels weigh about 160lbs each.

Yeah, if I ever get a flat on the side of the road I am *******ed....there is no way I can pick the flat up and put it in the back of the truck. I guess I would have to try to hide it in the weeds or something! lol
