There has been a problem with my dads truck. Well, not a big deal, but something out of the ordinary. When at an idle in Drive, it feels like the transmission makes a quick growling sound and vibration every couple seconds. If the truck is in anything but Drive, there is no problem. We have 04 STX 4.6L SuperCab 4x2. Like I said though, it hasnt caused any problems and isnt a big deal, but its just something not normal and want fixed before it does cause a problem. Is there any TSBs or any info about this problem out yet?

 

I check for any applicable TSBs or SSMs, but I need a VIN.
