Adding Factory Cruise Control

I'm considering adding the Ford's factory offered speed control accessory (includes steering wheel with buttons...It's in Ford's accessory catalog see it HERE ). I understand that the dealer must instruct the truck's computer to recognize the cruise control, but an owner could install the steering wheel them self. Those here who have added this cruise control kit, I’d be interested in hearing about your experiences and labor cost for the physical and electronic install, Vs the electronic install labor only.

Thanks,
MarkCh

Thanks, that thread was helpful.

Seems that dealers who have not done this before charge an hour, seems excessive. Any one know what Ford says how long the job is suppose to take?
