Not sure, but I was curious if the 06 Lincoln LT was going to bring over any interesting 'possibilities' for upgrades. Doesn't seem to, but I'm sure it will have little trim pieces which people will want to swap over.

Personally, I was hoping for HID-lighting as a factory option (on the F-150 or Lincoln) as I could do a retrofit without slicing open my headlamps and risking leakage...or a factory remote start would be nice.

The only real change I've seen for '06 is the addition of the F150 Harley Davidson. There will also be some different colors available, mostly for the Lariat and King Ranch. Otherwise it's just more of the same.

Don't count on it. they will probably try it in a concept first to gauge reaction. Ford doesn't want a repeat of the Excursion. What was it nicknamed by those dang treehuggers... the Ford Valdez?

Poked around the new (read: updated) explorer for next year. Looks cool, but the inside door handles are funny.

Yeah...thats so fricken stupid too. My parents have one (a 4wd XLT with a 5.4) and it gets around 14mpg on average. Very close to what my Screw gets.

2006 Upgrades

Just my opinion...

They should upgrade the transmission. A 4 speed auto is a thing of the past. Some vehicles now days are even coming with 6 speed auto.

I agree with etggolf.....definately a 5 speed auto...that would be perfect...I dont see a reason to change anything on this amazing truck other than that

I'm not saying i wouldnt buy a Hurricane equipped F150 in the future though

=======================

Will the Copper color still be available for the King Ranch?
