also what kind of change will i see in MPG will it be to bad

There are a lot of tires to choose from in 285/70/17.

you have 235's???? Damn! I thought my 255's were small.

How big do you want to go? 285's fit well and look nice. 305's would fill it a little better, and 315's are what I have. I also just put it the Daystar Spacer which raised the front end a little...

Hancooks Right...any how I have commented extensivly on those suck jobs...any how I went to a lt 265/70/17 10 ply rugged trail T/A my truck is slower from a standing start, a less agresive/lighter tire will not change your millage much if you go to a lt265/70/17 on the highway or hauling a load truck gets roughly the same millage as with the Hancooks 3:55 ltd slip 5.4 3v , my new tires are 1 inch taller ...the fx4 comes with a 265/70/18 tire( I could be wrong) but this dose give you a lot of options.

Don't buy from a ford dealer, they no longer offer raod hazzard protection, I wolud go to independant tire dealer.
