I was browsing the fourms this morning and came across a post in a Titan Fourm that compares a Honda truck Vs the F150. Don't worry, it's not to bad and it's not something to start a fight over. It's just very interesting and thought you guys might want to read it as well! You don't need to comment, it's just funny!

its funny that they bash the ugliness of the ridgelline...and complain that honda should have made the ridgeline into a real truck and not a midsize truck.

the ugly and not a real truck factors are my gripes about the titan keehee.

 

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I personnally dont think it looks any worse than the Titan and I really dont like the Titans looks.

 

I couldn't get past the looks of the Titan either. I think 'cheesy' is the best word I can think of to describe it. The Honda looks like a copy of the Chevy Avalanch to me. I wonder if GM is going to sue Honda like they did with the Studabaker SUV which resembles the H2.

Acually, most of the Titan guys make sence for once. Most agree that the Ridgline as the ugliest thing to hit the planet. I agree with most of them over there that the Ridgline is not really a truck. That was extreamly stupid to compare a test between the Honda and the F150 which are not in the same leage at all! That's like comparing a Mini Cooper to a F150!

 

titan, ridgeline and others are ok cars whats funny is they look like trucks well sorta lol

OK...the Honda didn't look too bad in the commercial they ran during the Super Bowl, but after seeing it in those pictures all I have to say is that is the UGLIEST "truck" I have ever seen!

 

I wonder how many Ridgelines you'll see on the construction site and how many Honda's will be pulling full sized trailers?? Probably none. What a stupid comparison.

 

I wonder if VW is ever going to come out with a truck?? lol

 

i think VW would do a much better job with a fullsize than honda could ever dream of.... look at the toureg at least it has a V8 and the interior is great....

Humm a unibody v6 ugly as sin yuppy "truck" vs. a REAL truck like the F-150.

The honda can tow 5000 lbs, WOW, SO CAN MY 3.0 POWERED RANGER!!!!!! And my ranger has 150 hp and about the same in torque.

Lets hook 10,000 to each and see which one survives. Or lets take each "truck" and use it as a truck for a year and see which one still runs.

 

I agree with NICO, the Honda can only pull 5000 lbs and the Touareg beat that with alittle over 7700(very impressive) lbs, plus it has more ground clearance. I would take the Touareg on the work site before I would the Honda.......BTW my neighbor has a Touarege, that's how I happend to know that. It is one very nice car to drive too, but it still doesnt beat my F-150.
