Quick Question for Quintin about Latest PCM code
Quintin, I got my PCM reflashed yesterday and the code that was put on my truck was 4U7A-12650-AAD. That's the code that I just gave to Anita yesterday because I just bought an Xcalbirator on Friday. But after thinking about it for a while and looking at that code on the sticker they placed, did the service tech forget to put an A before the 6 in 12650? I could swear that all the PCM reflash codes that I've seen lately and the PCM code I had before had six characters (12A650). I'm pretty sure they forgot to put an A before the 6 but I just wanted to double check with you on that.

I got the stealthbox as a birthday present from my Aunt. She didn't get me anything for my birthday last year and she knew that I was saving up money in order to buy it. She told me to use the money that I saved up so far for the stealthbox on college stuff (books, food, etc.) and that she would get the stealthbox for me. She's by far my most favorite relative!
I got a new scope stand like that from my Aunt. Welp, back to browsing around.

Quintin,
After, I took my truck in for hesitation; the dealer supposedly reflashed my PCM. They did not put a "authorized modification" sticker on the PCM but they gave me this engine calibration. 4F613BOA what is this number and how does it relate to PCM codes? Thanks, Erick

I think I might have added fuel to the fire and confused some people, including myself...this is how I understand it.
The calibration code your dealer gave you, 4F613B0A, is the official calibration code, used for federal emissions standards I believe. It's used for ordering emissions related parts more than anything at the dealer level, since several different parts, like catalysts, can be available depending on the root calibration. When your PCM is reflashed, the part number of the module itself is changed. This is a calibration too, but not in the sense that 4F613B0A is.
The designation on the authorized modification sticker is a heads up for anyone who may work on your car, and documentation that an emissions related part on your vehicle has been modified under directive of Ford Motor Company. Since reprogramming a PCM changes the part number of it, the actual part number on the label of the PCM can't be used to order a replacement PCM if need be...the new part number for whatever calibration that was uploaded needs to be used. That part number can also be gained via use of the scan tool, but the authorized modification label is easier.
Just my guess.
