Hi,
I have a 04 F 150 STX. I would like to install a billet grille but i hate the way it looks with the Bar grille. Is there anyways i can removed the bars so it can become just a honey comb grille? I like the billet grille options i can install on the truck but the ones that require 6 pieces arent nearly as attractive. can anyone help? any suggestion on bar grille options that people like?
thanks

very simple, just remove the bar style grille and install a "replacement" billet grille. The factory bar grille is held on by clips to the grill surround piece.

That's what us FX4 owners do too.

paid around $200 shipped for upper and lower grilles from Carriage Works.

That is a better option than trying to buy a stock honeycomb grille first, and then with the honeycomb, you install the "bolt-over" billet grille, of which you can still see the honeycomb pattern behind.

you're from Cali, you should be able to find replacement grilles everywhere....seems like all the good parts I order come from somehere in Cali.

got my grille from this ebay vendor. I emailed him directly and asked for a package deal: Black upper replacement grille, and lower bumper grille. You may or may not be able to find it cheaper elsewhere. Email the guy and ask him, his email is right on this auction:

I got my Advance tonneau from this place. At the time they were cheapest I could find, plus they ship UPS directly to your door. Other places want to ship this same cover by freight truck to a business address only. http://www.carmicdirect.com/

also, since you're newer here, it does help to use the forum "Search" feature to find out more info before posting
