I'm guessing they have a 5" backspace. Which probably means the wheel sticks out about 1" further than a stock wheel or something. Then if you add wider aftermarket tires you have to take that into account.

thanks man, well i was wondering cause i was lookin at some Pro Comp wheels with a 5" backspacing, and i seen them with 33"S on them and they looked like they stuck out more then "red wing nuts" wheels and tires, hist 295/70/17 are around 33/12.50/17 aint they???

Again, I may be wrong, but I think those wheels are 17x8. The procomp wheels are probably wider and may have a 4.5" backspace...which means they will stick out further.

Got em at Discount Tire. 8" wide, 25mm offset which makes it 5" backspace.
